As part of my corporate communications role, I contribute to and lead efforts to enhance Post’s corporate reputation with state and local government agencies by building relationships and pursuing relevant media opportunities. I also work directly with our general counsel and director of external relations to develop effective communication strategies for government affairs.

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Partnership
Post partnered with a local Public Health agency to host a high-profile vaccination clinic at a manufacturing plant in Northfield, MN. I developed key messages and drove media relations efforts to promote the event and partnership. I also helped coordinate with state and local agencies to host the Minnesota Department of Agriculture commissioner Thom Petersen as well as Rice County officials.
Climate Week in Minnesota
Post hosted the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency commissioner and local officials at one of our distribution centers for Climate Week, demonstrating the first all-electric terminal tractor in the state used at the facility. Key messages included our focus on environmental sustainability efforts and supporting the local community. I handled coordination with the agency, media, messaging, and promotion.
Southwestern Ontario Development Fund Announcement
As part of an overall 125th anniversary celebration strategy, I managed media and promotion for a funding announcement at Post’s manufacturing plant in Cobourg, Ontario. We hosted Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini at the plant’s anniversary celebration where he announced $412,700 in funding from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund.
