Description: Campaign focused on engaging influencers to amplify the Illinois Farm Families’ message and build trust in farmers.

Client: Illinois Farm Families

Through this influencer outreach, IFF set out to cultivate 50 health and wellness and foodie influencer brand messengers by the end of FY18. To achieve this objective, IFF wanted its audience to:

  • KNOW: Increase the number of health and wellness professionals and foodie influencers who view farmers as a resource for information about food 
  • THINK: Increase the number of health and wellness professionals and foodie influencers who have a positive perception of Illinois farmers and agriculture 
  • FEEL: Increase the number of health and wellness professionals and foodie influencers who have confidence in Illinois farming practices through ongoing conversations with farmers 
  • DO: Share their experiences with their patients, clients and followers 
Core Strategies
Cultivate relationships and sponsorships with key influencers to facilitate peer-to-peer conversations
Create meaningful in-person experiences that connect influencers with farmers
Provide targeted and educational sources of information about food and farming to influencers 
Encourage amplification of food and farming resources to additional audiences
